Cronsmith has no accounts and no database. Here is everything that happens with your data.

In your browser

Parsing, validation, English descriptions and next-run times are computed on your device. Your favorites, your 12 most recent valid expressions and your chosen preview time zone are saved in your browser’s localStorage so they are there next time. They never leave your device.

AI features

If you click “Generate”, “Suggest a fix with AI”, the text you typed (at most 300 characters), the selected cron dialect and any validation message are sent to our server and forwarded to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway. We don’t store these requests. A per-address request counter is kept briefly in memory to prevent abuse. Don’t paste secrets into the AI box.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and doesn’t collect personal data.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.
